Weekly Weigh-in

I was actually excited to weigh in today. I’ve had a great week (aside from the milkshake incident). I’ve stayed well within my calorie allotment and weight watchers points. I didn’t eat any of my weekly or activity points. I went to the gym 5 days for at least an hour and a half each day. I successfully ran Day 1 Week 2 of Couch to 5K. And I just feel skinnier! And when I stepped in the scale I saw a reward for all the hard work: 226.6! I lost 3.4 pounds this week! I’m pretty proud of myself. Only 1.6 pounds until my next weight loss goal of 225 lbs, which means that I will have lost 10% of my body weight!

Goals for next week:
• Hit the gym at least 4 times
• Finish Week 2 C25K and successfully run Day 1 of Week 3
• Stay within my points (as close to 1200 calories as possible)
• Drink A LOT more water
• Add some strength training to my workouts
• Lose (at least) 1.6 lbs

  1. WTG!!! And lol “the milkshake incident” – but you slammed that milkshake right back didn’t you! That’s one of the best lessons I’ve learned in the last year – just keep going, just keep going. Every once and I while I lapse and cave to a junk craving, but then I say oh well, and keep going. I used to use that as an excuse to carry on and go right off the rails, but I’ve realized I’d rather have the odd bag of chips or ice cream once and a while, and maybe lose a bit less that week, than walk around craving them like crazy, caving and binging, and then feeling so guilty I can’t stand it. What a waste of time. Good Job!
